From the PA Turnpike

Exit at Valley Forge. Take I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) east toward Philadelphia. Exit at I-676 and continue to the 8th St./Chinatown exit. Turn right on 8th St., going south, and proceed to Walnut St. Turn right on Walnut, Wills is at 840 Walnut.

From Wilmington

Take I-95 North toward Philadelphia. Exit at #17 Independence Hall/Callowhill St, following signs for Callowhill, proceed on Callowhill to 8th St. Turn left on 8th, going south. Proceed to Walnut St. Turn right on Walnut, Wills is at 840 Walnut.

From Bucks County

Take I-95 South toward Philadelphia. Exit at #17 Independence Hall/Callowhill St, following signs for Callowhill, proceed on Callowhill to 8th St. Turn left on 8th, going south. Proceed to Walnut St. Turn right on Walnut, Wills is at 840 Walnut.

From New Jersey Shore Points

Take Atlantic City Expressway north to Rte. 42 North. Take the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia. Get in the left-hand lane and follow signs to 8th St South. Turn left on 8th, proceed to Walnut St. Turn right on Walnut, Wills is at 840 Walnut.

From Central New Jersey

Routes 70 West and 38 West will take you to the Ben Franklin Bridge. Take the bridge into Philadelphia. Get in the left-hand lane and follow signs to 8th St South. Turn left on 8th, proceed to Walnut St. Turn right on Walnut, Wills is at 840 Walnut.

From New York

Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 4 (Rt. 73 North). Follow to Rt. 38 West, to the Ben Franklin Bridge. Take the bridge into Philadelphia. Get in the left-hand lane and follow signs to 8th St South. Turn left on 8th and proceed to Walnut St. Turn right on Walnut, Wills is at 840 Walnut.

From Philadelphia International Airport

Take I-95 North toward Philadelphia. Exit at #17 Independence Hall/Callowhill St, following signs for Callowhill. Proceed on Callowhill to 8th St. Turn left on 8th, going south and proceed to Walnut St. Turn right on Walnut, Wills is at 9th and Walnut. There is also a regional rail line stop at the airport that takes you to the Market East and Suburban stations.

Public Transportation

Wills is easily accessible by public transportation. The Market East Station located at 11th and Market Sts. and the Suburban Station located at 16th and Arch Sts., which serve the suburban regional rail lines, are a few blocks north of Wills. In addition, many of the following public transportation routes are also within walking distance.

Wills Eye Institute parking garage at 9th and Locust Sts. offers reduced rates (with validation) to patients. Space is limited.
